We are a Prague based fi lm production company, with a roster of our own directors, for over fi fteen years offering highest standard production services for fi lm and commercial productions. Today Dawson is among top fi ve production companies in Czech Republic within advertisement industry. Throughout the past ten years the Dawson team was steadily making their entry into industry of fi lmmaking, producing and co-producing TV series, short and full feature fi lms.
For its work, Dawson Productions has received awards at some of the world’s prestigious festivals and charts as The Epica Awards, Cresta Awards, Cannes Young Director Award, The Golden Rose of Montreux, First Boards Awards, RMB Awards, The Golden Drum at Portoroz, Impakt Film Festival in Utrecht, Gunn Report, Tour Film International Festival, The Tokyo Video Festival, NY Advertising Festival, The Czech Lion Awards and The Czech Nutcracker.
Monika Kristl
Executive Producer and Managing Director
Having over ten years of experience and several hundreds of commercial productions behind her, Monika was always taking persistent steps in developing and producing fi lms. In 2009 she fi nished Dawson’s biggest to date production - the award winning feature fi lm 3 Seasons in Hell. Currently she is developing three more feature fi lms - all European co-productions. Monika also keeps an overview on the locally based directors and is constantly discovering new talents.
Vlasta Kristl
Executive Producer
Having successfully managed Dawson’s French market commercial production and international service jobs since 1996 Vlasta in 2008 overtook the responsibility of supervising all company’s commercial productions. Vlasta is renowned for getting the job done and his ability to set the right teams across in-house resources and free lancers to meet the exact needs of each and every project.
Tomas Masin
Director
Co-founder of Dawson, Tomas is in charge of outlining the creative direction of the company. With a background in graphic design he started out as a successful advertisement director. Today Tomas is not only an award winning commercials’ and music videos’ director, but also a script cowriter and a fi rst time feature director. After successful premiere of his fi lm 3 Seasons in Hell in 2009, enthusiastically excepted by the viewers, Tomas is now developing new feature fi lms as well as directing some high profi le commercials.
